Recent Tilted Hat Motorsports projects have included a 1933 Bugatti Type 55 and 1936 Bugatti Type 57, a 1972 Bronco Sport, 1969 Half Cab Bronco, 1972 Blazer LS,1939 Chevy Pickup Street Rod, and a MGB, 41 Ford, Type 49 Bugatti and Super Beetle.

1933 Bugatti Type 55 and 1936 Bugatti Type 57

For the past two years we have had the opportunity to collaborate with Sargent Metal Works during the restoration of these two magnificent Bugatti’s. In 2024 we did the body work and paint on the 1933 Type 55. This was 1 of 12 and was an excellent example with matching numbers and an original body. It ended up in the winner’s circle at Pebble Beach in 2024 after winning the J3 class.

In 2025 we did the body work and paint on the 1936 Type 57 roll top coupe, this is 1 of 3 examples known to be in the country. It went to Pebble Beach and took second place in its class and won the most elegant closed car award. It then went on to The Audrain concourse where it again came in second place in its class but also received the Founders Choice award.
